One thing I have been trying to work out is how to sort my collections by date which I find more intuitive than alphabetically and easier to find particular collections. Has anyone any ideas how to do this if at all as I cannot find out how? I may of course be simply daft/blind/moronic.

Ah, I was referring to the list in the box at the left hand side of the screen labelled "Collections". The list of sub folders. Drives me spare it will not list these by added or date taken............. Makes finding things hard.

Collections are listed in alphabetical order, when you create your collections and want them listed in date order start the collection name with the date i.e. "2015-04-26 - Name".

Quote:
Identify photos in a collection

•Photos in a collection display the Photo Is In Collection badge in the Grid view and the Filmstrip. Click the badge to see which collections the photo is in.
note: Smart collections are not listed.

•In a collection, Ctrl-click (Mac OS) or right-click (Windows) a photo and choose Go To Folder In Library to go to the folder that contains the photo
