As I shoot in RAW+ is there a way of splitting the DNG files from its jpeg files easy?
I would make then two 'smart folders', one for DNG and one for jpeg, or can that be done automatically?
May I ask to much here of the program?
Kind regards

Use the Library filters to select files by type (or ISO, Lens, F-stop etc) then its a simple job to move them to the desired HD location.

Before pressing on with LR it's worth taking some timeout and thinking about your HD folder strategy,I use a strictly year and date structure.
Cheers
Brian.
LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.

Thanks for that. I too use a Year/Date Folder Structure followed by Location, Event etc. so I should have no problems with that.

I did not know about the Library Filters and that will make my life now a bit more easy.
I just have to think now of a way that shows me if I got a DNG File of a specific jpeg file and if I can flag it also if the file has an edited version. Maybe I can use the flagging and stars for that one as it would be more complicated in Keywords (or even forgotten. 5Stars meaning an edited file exist, a flag meaning a DNG file exist.
Or something to that respect?

SmutjeUK - you will find it a lot easier if you get Martin Eveining's book. Amazon have it for a little over £18.00 - see the link below

All images which have been changed have little graphical markers on them in the bottom film strip view indicating what's been done in broad category terms, inc key words, croping, flags, stars etc. It really is worth the money.

I looked at the Book, but it is not available as an eBook only as a Kindle book.
I prefer eBooks as I can get to the section by Keyword rather then physically going through the pages.
I will have a look if it is somewhere available as an eBook for a decent price and not like some obscure American site that charges $45 for a link.
Thanks for the tip and the link

The free version of Kindle software for PCs that you can download from Amazon allows keyword searches. This could be a workable compromise.

Indeed it would. I did not know that there is software like that available.
Many thanks for the tip!

No idea... you can look around on the web for that, someone might even have made a plugin for it.

In Lightroom's catalogue preferences there is an option to treat JPEG files next to RAW files as individual files and not stack them.

Once you have unstacked them you can the use the filters to filter by file type and mark all JPEG files with a JPEG keyword and then create a JPEG smart collection.
