Lightroom 2.2, 16th Dec

Info for Lightroom users, On the Adobe site today Lightroom 2.2 for download from the 16th Dec 08, (Camera and Software updates)..

A big extension to the this (light)room

updates are going to be:
Additional camera support for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon PowerShot G10, Panasonic DMC-LX3 and more
Includes several corrections for issues introduced by the Lightroom 2.0 release.
IMO hopefully adobe will include noise reduction in lightroom soon.

Noise reduction is included in Lighroom for chroma and luminance so I don't know why you say it is not there.

I think he probably meant "good noise reduction". On par with noise ninja and neatimage please?

Lightroom 2.2 on the web for download today, Not had time to check it out fully but seems a little faster and the brush tool seems better than L/R 2.1..

Thanks Tyr and Rob, I meant that noise reduction built into Lightroom 2.0 raw tools is poor in comparsion to the dedicated tools like Noise Ninja, Noiseware or Neat Image.
