Lightroom 2.0/2.1 problem

In the Develop Module > Adjustment Brush I used to have a 'Soften Skin' control. It's gone, possibly since I upgraded to version 2.1 or loaded a couple of plugins.

Does anybody else have this problem?

I've removed the plugins, removed LR 2.1, reloaded 2.0 (same problem), reloaded 2.1 (same problem).

No problem with Lightroom it will be your plug in's..

Well I've fixed it. I had to remove Lightroom, delete all references to Lightroom in the registry, delete my local user Application settings and any other references to Lightroom on my system drive, then reinstall Lightroom. Sorted.

I'm not sure if all of that was necessary. I suspect that it may only have been necessary to delete my local user settings. But at least it's done.
