Still a subscription though.... Personally I still Prefer Serif's Affinity Photo 2 @ £40.42 Pay once and own the software.

What photo editing software. Does everyone use ?

Agree with stub, I have Affinity Photo 2 as well. Good piece of kit and reasonably 'easy' to use. As with most software, the longer you work with it the more you find it can do.

GIMP for JPGs and a free version of DxO Raw images.

Found Affinity very slow to load raw files, even tried version 2 to see if that was better but found a camera full of pics took forever

I use Adobe Lightroom for cataloguing and Photoshop for making corrections like removing distractions etc.

Among tons of features that I still keep learning, I do like Photoshop's powerful 'content aware' adjustments.

Apart from getting the full features and latest software updates, for me the real deal is their Adobe Portfolio where I host my website, and the cost is included in the plan (I used to pay separately to a hosting service annually).

I use LS & PS.... fair enough it's 10 quid a month, but I get all updates. Plus it's simply the best. I've tried lots of other stuff but they are just not as good...
