Anyone used the ND500MC (fixed 9 stops)as advertised by Premier Ink & Photographic. Got A birthday coming up soon so looking to buy something off my "Want's List"

Apart from Lee bigstopper, which comes with fairy dust and has to be paid for in hen's teeth, is there 'P' type available for a resonable price.
Regards
Stan

if you just need it for one lens look for B&W they do screw on 10 stop , or the cokin p type fit by Hitech, have improved vastly since their original launch onto the market, i believe there are a number of users of them on this site

I've just ordered some Hitech Grads the 85 series fit the cokin p holders.

They do a 10 stop link

I've done a lot of research into filters because they are generally expensive and Hitech seem to be the best reasonably priced ones.

One of my favourite photographers Ian Cameron ( http://www.transientlight.co.uk/ )uses them so if they're good enough for him they're more than OK for me.

If using one of these 10 stop filters with a cokin type holder, isn't there a danger of light leakage around the sides of the filter?

If you are referring to my post then 'The Pro Stop filter is fitted with a foam gasket perimeter, which creates a seal between the filter holder and lens, thus reducing light spillage around the sides of the filter.'
