I think the letterbox format works very well. Great shot.

Nice shot, but I think I would have gone the other way and taken out a bit more of the foreground.

I stopped at the side of the road and leaned over the wall to take it, It was a glorious day and I could have spent hours round the area, unfortunately I had promised my Brother a hand so was limited for time
I took it with the K20D and the 16-50

snapped this a few weeks ago while on my way over to Thornton in Bradford to help my brother with some decorating, been undecided about the crop and finally settled on this, about half the original and totally removing the sky.
