Lenses from Ebay

Grey imports are fine, but you don't get the two year warranty and may have more difficult getting it serviced.
Be aware that advertisers sometimes claim they are in the UK when they are not.
Fundamentally, if the price of a new lens is significantly cheaper than SRS then it is either a grey import, a reconditioned model or it is being posted from outside the UK. Or it could be stolen or simply a con.
If something goes wrong you may not be covered by UK trading standards. And if you are and the retailer has gone out of business you have no warranty or recourse.
My advice is, if you don't want to pay UK retail prices then buy second hand, rather than risking the unknown.

Second that. Better to buy used from a trusted source.

Has anyone bought new lenses off of Ebay, the prices from some sellers are very tempting, but sometimes in the feedback, it is claimed they are an import. Not sure if being 'an import' would make it any less of a Pentax lens
