Hi friends, Just thought should share my experience with lens creep band. I recently bought from Ebay this lens creep band for my sigma 28-300. I put it on my sigma and there you are....no creep and its quite tight....it really solves the creep problem....I vouch for it....

My husband's Sigma 28-300 has a lock on it so doesn't creep.
None of my lenses suffer from creep.

Kiron were the first with clamps (zoomlock) and they also had two stops that let you restrict the focus between say 10-30M

Depending on the size of the lens you may find that one of the various charity wristbands does the same job?

I've never had a problem with zoom creep. My old M 35-70mm and 75-150mm will move on their own given a chance, but none of my new lenses do.
