Lens calibration question

Sorry for double posting i posted this in general chat by mistake,

i have the charts etc but how do i set the camera up is it the composition adjust under the menu?

Just dont want to screw it up lol

No. To adjust the lens you need to go to menu: option 26 AF Fine Adjustment.

Select On and then either do apply to all, or apply one.

The camera will remember up to 20 different lens.

Also make sure you do the calibration in decent daylight. As youv'e probably gathered the K-5 has a fault with AFing in low light which ranges from mild to severe depending on the camera.

Onve you've calibrated your lenses in decent light I would check them at EV2 and below

Thanks guys nice one will get on it tuesday now then rather than tonight, stag weekend so aint handling my camera untill i'm well sobered up lol

Only if you find your photos are regularly soft with a certain lens. Or if you have just bought a 2nd hand lens and want to check for problems. Or if you are just paranoid
