Leica 39mm - K mount adapter. Does it exist?

Thanks for this suggestion, Ted, but buying a film body to cure a digital problem is a bit too radical for me. However, if the need to go ultra-wide gets too strong, I'll press my old Leica IIIc into service. It could do with some exercise.

I presume that it's the same as the Epson, in which case I wonder why anyone would want to pay £2000 for a digital RF that has the same 6.1MP chip (probably) as the *istDS and which on tests performed quite badly.
Might as well spend a quarter of the price and get better results....

The answer, John, is to be able to use a REALLY wide-angle lens.
But I don't think my need, or bank balance, are likely to justify the expense.

The body plus 4.5/15mm Heliar weights the same as a 3.5/15mm SLR lens alone!
The BessaL 4/25mm combo is also great for street photographing.
