Good set, I like building 2 & 3. The first image I really like, definite feeling of height & great textures in those steps...

Fire escape is a solid image although perhaps a little tightly cropped for my taste.
Nice idea in the last one but I think the light hasn't helped you.
I find the clouds in Building 1 too bright, although it's good in all other respects. I agree that Building 2 is too noisy.
Building 3 is great though, right up my alley. Perhaps crop a little from the top and bottom? And I suppose a little more zing in the building itself wouldn't go amiss.
Good to see you back!

Thanks very much for your comments chaps. And, yes it's good to be back.
Just upgraded to a K10 from a K100 and it has really got me back into photographing again.
I had the camera set at ISO 200 for all shots.
Building 2 is cropped from an original immage twice it's size. Would this create grain?
Other than that I wouldn't have expected too much noise at a low ISO.
The last shot I really like, I think it may look a tad underexposed though?
That said, I did de-saturate it to reduce colour from the buildings, perhaps this is why.
The fire escape does look American if you didn't know it was in Leeds.
Cheers again - nice to get the feedback!

Leeds,
The North
Leeds has become very photogenic with all the recent building work.
I hope to get back and shoot other areas - there is a lot to go at.
Anyway, comments most welcome....
