Leaving Pentax

Aren't Sigma in the process of making their new 150 macro in a Pentax mount, I'm sure I read it a couple of moths back on this very forum?

Park Cameras shows it in stock, but neither Sigma UK or Sigma US have it listed for Pentax mount.

Yes I sold the converter a few weeks after the 300 lens. I am extremely sad at leaving Pentax, but as I said in the earlier post, it's not the cameras, it's the backup both from Pentax and third party suppliers.

I must admit the idea (leaving Pentax) did flash through my mind when the new Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 wasn't announced in Pentax mount.
Pentax haven't let me down yet so I'll sit it out and wait for them to announce a new Super-telephoto.
I'm sure Pentax are losing out on a lot of sales because of this omission in their lens line-up.

Both the 120-300mm f2.8 and 150mm macro were supposedly to be released in Pentax mount but Sigma have since removed everything off their web sites with regard to both Pentax and Sony.

It's possible that plans have been put on hold because of a shortage of parts. This could be a tsunami side effect.
Best regards, John

I hope Sigma aren't following Tamron's example in effectively dropping Pentax when it comes to new lenses.

Anyone contacted them to find out why they are no longer releasing the said lenses in Pentax fit?
