Leaves with the FA77 @ f2

Wandering around looking for patterns and texture in vegatation with the FA77 at f2 and the sun low (as usual - the dog can't take the heat earlier in the day). Look low, always low, and there's a lot to see. The intention was to focus (pun intended) on leaves, but the last one crept in just because I like it.

Cropped and some processing to remove distracting background material.

Thoughts and comments welcome as usual.

Well shot, #5 hits the mark for me

Yep - nice little set, the pattern and simplicity of no.3 is the fave for me

I agree with no.3, the darks work well with the composition but the others for me are a tad too shadowy.

Gareth - Undergrowth is indeed dark and shadowy. I've started another thread for folks who prefer the lighter, softer side of the plant world .

I like the light in no.5, too - really warm and glowing, with a subject that stands out well against the background.

1 & 5 work best for me - 1 for the dark circular movement of the subject receding into the lighter green in the background; 5 for its simple geometric form, enhanced by (or enhancing) the clump of leaves. But great set overall.
