Thanks guys much appreciated

can't correct lens distortion with manual lenses unfortunately
Alastair I think that needs to be clarified. Certainly automatic camera processed lens corrections require more modern lenses, in fact it has to be a DA series I believe? Not sure about FA series? But as pointed out above you can adjust various distortions in software on any photos if needed. Helicon filter is very good, and a low cost option.

I'm outgunned again in terms of taste regarding No3 ... Good to hear all opinions, but in any case its an interesting effect. Is it a type of filter applied there?

Hey, there was nothing to worry about in terms if responses and interest here ... Plenty if it

Tank you everyone. It's a church in County Armagh for those that are wondering. Can you adjust M series lenses?

No, not with the on-board camera corrections ... They will be blanked out when a manual lens if fitted. The lens needs to have electronic contacts and transmit its id to the camera plus focal length as the camera memory will have a data store of lens info so it knows how much correction to apply for each specific lens and focal length. I'm assuming this will only be DA lenses for us.

No 1 is lovely and the sort of photo I would take. No. 2 is superb and the sort of image I wish I would take! No 3 is the marmite image. No 4 is the sort of image that made me go and buy the K28/3.5 shift...

Cheers, Kris.
