Ultra wide angle lenses focus close anyway with, obviously, huge depth of field. Macro with 15mm would have to be so close the lens would be touching the subject surely? I've tried 50mm ones and rejected them as impractical. I'd have thought 100mm for macro. Affordable tilt shift would be good to have.

I think the idea is to put the subject in context - looking at the gallery the setting is discernible, not like the completely blurred bokeh you get with a normal macro, so I guess you get a greater depth of field. Having said that the examples given would look better without the setting!

I have the original Venus 2:1 macro lens by Laowa (not the wide angle) and am very impressed with the image quality and 2:1 magnification. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a bigger macro image.
There is no communication between the lens and the camera but this isn't a problem as most macro shots are manual focus anyway.

The 15mm f4 macro has some tilt/shift capability and the 60mm f2.8 can switch from 1:1 to 2:1 magnification. The flash has two independently controllable flashes on flexible stalks which looks weird but looks like it gets good results. Available direct or in UK through ukdigital.
