Dunno if the results are worthwhile but HF Holidays offer various residential photography jaunts in addition to their more usual guided walking holidays - which we have sampled extensively. Those on the photography breaks, sharing the same accommodation, always seem to be happy, animated and busily engaged so their brochure might be a starting point(?).

I've been on two workshops with Image Seen (https://imageseen.co.uk) run by Sarah Howard which I found very enjoyable and can recommend. A group of about half a dozen, we were taken to photo locations and she's good for helpful advice. Accommodation is included in the price, as is a picnic lunch and coffee breaks.

Belated thanks for the comments both. I've had a think and both sound interesting. The Image Scene courses, in particular, look good so I'm probably going to book something up with them. The Peak District one looks interesting.

I’ve got a significant birthday coming up in the early part of next year and I thought of treating myself to a bit of formal photography education. I used to be really interested in landscape photography and thought that attending a one or two day workshop might help me get back into it and offer up some practical pointers. Has anyone on the forum ever attended one? Did you find it useful? Any recommendations?
