Can finally put some Lady GaGa photos up for your perusal C & C always welcome.

we got to shoot songs 1, 4 & 9 so hence lots of costume changes... Beautiful lighting from the Beeb technicians made it a dream to shoot. Possibly the only chance to photograph Lady GaGa from a photo pit rather than a soundboard or back of the arena...

Nice shots - I lover her expression in number 2
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Nice shots. What a great place to be for photos. I'm personally not a big fan of Lady Gaga but I wouldn't
turn down a chance to be in such a prime location.

Were these taken with the K-r?

I gotta ask though...
Whats your take on the Mother Monster's proclamation that she owns copyright to any photos taken of her?
Just wondering if you were given special rights, if they tried to enforce that before you took photos, or if that whole attempt had been thrown out. I honestly haven't kept up on how that has all played out.

I love Lady Gaga. She is a zillion times better than Madonna ever was. At least she can sing!

Great shots. Being a "Women in rubber" fan I was naturally drawn to #3,

but that aside #4 is the best shot IMO

Only problem is Gary your watermark is pretty pointless where it is. People will no doubt "borrow" some of these and crop them

Something semi transparent, which is just noticeable anf not obtrusive would have to be used otherwise.

That huge solid current watermark would completely spoil the fun if it were in the centre.

I already view them by using the bottom of the browser window to crop off the watermark.

Very, very good set. Number 2 for me as well. I'd definitely protect these a little more.

Cheers guys. Lady Gaga contract for this show was different to other tours, no rights grabbing, just that you had state publications they where going to be used in.

All where shot with GX20 Tamron 17-50 & 50-135mm...

As for watermarking, there are two thoughts to this, one is if they are hot linked then I know they are mine. Second if someone does crop the watermark of the image & rehosts it then that person / company is counteracting anti copyright procedures, the watermark being one of many. If someone chooses to do this then the claim for compensation is higher than just reposting the whole image. I have no issues with people stealing my work, however if I catch them then it is going to cost them, I have had a number of successful claims against individuals & organisations this year for copyright theft etc...

It is getting easier & easier to search for stolen images, I find on average three a week now & just pass the screenshots onto my IP lawyer to pursue for me...

So skilfully done and with a quality professional gloss. I wouldn't know where to begin shooting stuff like this. I even tried using a simple flashgun the other day but ended-up taking it off because I couldn't get the exposure right!
Best wishes,

Andrew

Excellent shots Gary, I really like 2 and 4! Nice to see her looking like a woman and not a mannequin.
