The KX live view is worse than terrible, sorry, in my experience.
Has anyone gone from a KX TO A KR?? if so was it worth it.
Live view is v important to me, why did I buy a KX I hear you say??I didn't consider it would be so bad.First class camera though

many thanks.

I have a K-r and am very impressed with the Live view. I had the nikon d5000 before and the live view was unusable. the live view in my K-r has made landscape shots much easier.

The live view is very quick, usable and with a 921,000 lcd-very sharp.
My view of the KR,fast, fast and fast-great camera.(compared to the K200D,KX that I used to own.

Why do you consider k-x liveview to be terrible? Liveview has limitations. But I find it a godsend for landscapes.

Alan, as always it comes down to personal preference, for me , live view in all light conditions is important,in low light the KR responds quicker.
It's good that the KX live view suits your purposes
IMO both the KX and KR are superb cameras, I don't think there's a lot of difference in IQ.

The only thing I don't like about the k-x Chris is the lack of weather sealing.
But there again. I've never had it before on 35mm, so I shouldn't complain
