I have a K-r and am very impressed with the Live view. I had the nikon d5000 before and the live view was unusable. the live view in my K-r has made landscape shots much easier.

I have bought a KR since creating this thread.
My view of the KR,fast,fast and fast-great camera.(compared to the K200D,KX that I used to own.

Alan, as always it comes down to personal preference, for me , live view in all light conditions is important,in low light the KR responds quicker.
It's good that the KX live view suits your purposes
IMO both the KX and KR are superb cameras, I don't think there's a lot of difference in IQ.

The KX live view is worse than terrible, sorry, in my experience.
Has anyone gone from a KX TO A KR?? if so was it worth it.
Live view is v important to me, why did I buy a KX I hear you say??I didn't consider it would be so bad.First class camera though
