Scroll down to the end of the version list and it gives instructions on preparation and installation of 1.14 - follow it to the letter and you will be fine.

1st of all, download it to your pc's desktop, then open it so that you can see a .bin file. Copy the .bin file on to a fresh sd card. With the camera switched OFF, insert the card, then (whilst pushing in the menu(?) button) switch the camera on. Make sure you have a full battery to do this!.. Give the firmware update a couple of minutes, then you should see a message on the rear screen letting you know that the update is complete.
