KR Base plate cracking

Has anybody with a KR had this happen, Camera base has cracked at the edge of the battery compartment,Camera has not been knocked, only gets used occasionally, mainly as secondary to my K5.

Nope, mine is all A ok.

I had to replace a base plate on a K20, was quite easy and inexpensive.

Where did you get your base plate from Don.

Mine came from "kennedys" the Australian importer for pentax.cost me $15 a couple of years back.
