I'm with Gareth, not sure what we're looking at besides a reflection?
Photography is putting one’s head, one’s eye, and one’s heart on the same axis. HCB
K20D and various stuff.

Hi Ken, nothing more than a quick study in shallow depth of field with my recently acquired 35mm.
Although a reflection happens to be there it wasn't the reason for the composition. I do rather like the various kitchen appliances / utensils etc aligned and tapering off along the work surface... just humour me if it's not your cup of tea

Heh I thought we were looking at bokeh

Have you tried focussing on the spaghetti instead of the ladle?

Hi Tim, yes bokeh was part of the deal

With the attention on Spaghetti......

Edit... any mystery disappears and our nasty work top surface comes it to full view

Hmm I prefer the focus on the spaghetti, but it's made your blur a bit less interesting. You need a longer kitchen worktop

Are you sure it's nothing to do with the fact you can't make out my ugly mug in the ladle
