K5ii focus selection and continuous shooting

On my k5ii when in selection focus mode I would like to shoot continuous. However sometimes when I choose the directional menu button which allows me to access the continuous shooting hi/low mode it just moves the focus selection points around. Can someone help or is the continuous shooting mode only available in auto?

Press and hold the OK button for a second or 2 to enter the direct key menus, a quick double click of the OK button will return the keys to the focus point selection mode.
