jockey0, do you have another keyboard? The full stop (commonly used to end a sentence) doesn't seem to be working on the one you are using, which makes your posts tiresome to read. Come to think of it, I don't think your shift key is working either (commonly used to start a sentence with a capital letter).

Gary, I wrote that above all the pictures. They are just examples of difficult light. I was hopping the flash would get all upset again, but it was fine; camera and flash working as they should in all scenarios.

The problems I referred to earlier can happen anywhere, like a dark ally (last time). I looked for all the obvious mistakes but could see nothing wrong with the setup at the time. I'll keep an eye out, if it happen again I'll post some examples instead of deleting them and swearing

Well my friends just been up and brought his k5 II and metz 44 af1, i have just tried his 44 and it runs perfect on mine in pttl every shot spot on, the 58 is a little hit and miss on his mk2 so is the problem mainly with the metz 58 flash, might just grab a 44 and use my 560 when i need the extra power. andrew. Please note full stops and capitals lol.

Remember, both the Metz and K5 need the latest firmware before making judgements.

Darkmunk i updated both after the first pictures i did think the camera firmware improved but was still not right, the 44 i tried tonight worked spot on every shot so i am going to get one to use and just carry the 560 for when i need more power, the 58 i will just keep it with the k30 as backups.
