K5 Firmware 1.13 upgrade issue

I have just upgraded my new k5 from v1.01 to v1.13

I had a major panic after following the instructions almost to the letter! Upgrade went ok after which I removed the SD card and turned the camera back on, nothing. panic. Clean trousers needed.

I have just learnt that the camera will not start up if the memory card door is open!
