From that image it doesn't look like the dreaded sensor stain, although it's difficult to be certain at that resolution, can you post a crop of the affected area so we can see it at 100%

Too late, I fear.
Never, ever, touch the mirror or the screen; they are very delicate and can be damaged by even the lightest touch. Neither of them can have any effect on the final image because they are in a different light path. Even quite noticable marks on lenses will have little effect. It is almost certain, as Mike says, that its just a little bit of fibre or dust on the sensor.
