It's not an easy place to use a camera: generally busy and noisy. I gave up using my camera, putting it away and enjoying the marine life instead!
You've done well with both of these and I particularly like the one of the shark.

There is a trace of noise on the shark body. I took both JPEG and Raw files. I had in camera noise reduction on and when I compared the in camera processed JPEG with the Raw file processed in Adobe Camera Raw to reduce the noise the in camera JPEG was far more acceptable.
Love them both! That is a heck of a high ISO. Is there just a trace of colour noise on the shark?

They look very good. I had much worse results last year at the Oceanographic in Valencia, using my K-3 and HD FA 35/2. The K-3 III seems to have much better noise control and also superior AF (neither of which is a surprise).

Many thanks for all the comments. The one thing that did surprise me was just how good the in-camera noise control is, far better than anything I could achieve processing the raw file in Adobe Camera Raw.
