Both SRS and WEX are offering the K3II plus new 16-85WR for less than £1000. Given that the 16-85WR is currently on sale at the ridiculous price of £499 or so, it implies that there will be a big drop coming in the price of this lens if bought on its own...probably £100 reduction I would have thought...particularly as Microglobe have been selling it this past week or so for £349.

That is brilliant news, well, at least for me. Saving up for the K3 II. At the moment just considering body only, but if the trend continuous, I'd be up for a 'kit' as well! Even on my sigma 10-20, 15-16 seems to be the sweet spot for me. Christmas can't come soon enough

That is an extraordinary bargain for a new camera model that is at the top of its class (and beyond its class in some respects, offering high tech features that are trailblazing) .....PLUS a high quality zoom that offers an exceptional range, very versatile, and is a good step up from a standard kit lens type.

It certainly appears to be a very good time to be a Pentax User !
