Time for something a little more uplifting.
I'm sure it will have been mentioned previously, but skip exactly 5 minutes into this YouTube video review to hear a review of the K-3 by someone who knows something about DSLR's. OK it's not a review, just the best and worst of 2013. He also did a fine review of the camera itself ..... in the field!

The DP review does seem to mess up in an important aspect of K-3 video quality. It says:Lower marks for video again. There is no juddering (implying drop frames) in the clip - they should get a better computer or monitor to view it on. If they see any, it's due to slow video processing of the h.264 video in their video or player. I double checked for drop frames, frame by frame, there aren't any.Sample 3

If they are referring to the part where there is smearing, just after halfway as the cars are passing at their closest, well I suggest that the camera is too close to a fast moving object with insufficient pan speed and/or steadyness at that point. I can't see any similarly priced DSLR with the same settings doing any better under those conditions.
