It's gone a bit too dark now, somewhere in between would be great! You'll love the K-5, just make sure you treat it to decent glass!

I see what you mean - I've been using Photogene on my iPad for PP since last summer and been pleased with the results - just changed to a MacBook with Retina display and bought Aperture, hence why I'm playing with it!
Looking at the image again I agree it is a little dark - my only excuse is that I've just got in after a 12 hour shift.
Hopefully the weather gods will be kind this weekend - I'm planning on a trip to Kirkham Priory at the weekend (your Roche Abbey images have inspired me!).

Hope your trip to the Abbey goes well, I'm going back to Roche soon to try out some more shots with different techniques. Look forward to seeing some pics on here when you've been!

Steve. Are you counting down to receiving something? A K3 maybe? If so then I'll join you as I hope to have a K3 on Tuesday the 15th. as well if all goes well.

My guess is he's getting excited about Dave Edmunds 70th Birthday (he of pub rock and new wave fame with "numerous hits in the 1970s and early 1980s, his natural leaning has always been towards 1950s style rock and roll".). Certainly worth celebrating ... possibly by buying a shiny new camera?
