Some images from tonight's Elite Ice Hockey League match between Fife Flyers and Braehead Clan, Flyers won 4-1 and booked their place in this years play-offs.

This is the first Ice Hockey match I've ever attended, quite enjoyed it, a full house made for a terrific atmosphere.

As I had to shoot from my seat I left all the f2.8's at home.......

I like Image number two, it certainly conveys the movement of the players and the speed of the game.

The first 4 don't really do much for me. None of them transfer the dynamics of a fast moving game into a still. I appreciate it's not an easy task.

#5 however is great and captures the juxtaposition of the players and the advert legs. I'd crop a bit off the right to remove the distracting edge stuff, and blur, dumbdown the audience a bit in order to put focus on the players and signage

Thanks for the comment Smeggy.

Trying to portray the movement/speed is a bit like football but 10 times faster, #2 was among my best efforts at panning but sitting in a cramped stand is not the best place to swing a big thing about

I'll do some more pp on #5.
