Program Line: set to High Speed for emergency snaps, but I rarely use Program at all.
Custom Image: Natural, though it's barely relevant when shooting RAW.

Only a K10D but...
Only use Av and Manual, and I shoot RAW.
NB I wonder if there is any correlation with the fact I cut my photographic teeth on an ME Super?

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I use Av, Tv depending on which matters most (old and shaky hands) and manual for the odd shot and flash.
I'd be interested to know if people resort to manual in preference to Ev adjustment.

I also only have a K10D but I do almost the same as Mike here above.
Although I tend to use manual often if the light is pretty constant. The halfautomatic modes just arent predictable enough to my liking.
With manual I often use the street as my grey card and simply aim on a part with the correct lighting and press the green button, spot on most of the time

On my ME Super I used manual rather than the Ev adjustment as I found it to be very fiddly, and easier to get right on manual.I'd be interested to know if people resort to manual in preference to Ev adjustment.
On the K10D I have become lazy. I take the photo, check the histogram, dial in EV if needed, re-take the photo. Hence my preference for static subjects....
I ought to use manual more to enforce some discipline!

I tend to use AV but revert to P when appropriate. I rarely use manual and if I need more/less light I use EV - EV on the K10D being very easy to access.
On a dark desert highway, cool Pentax K5 in my hand.

Oh and for program line
I never have it in full auto but it's on MTF I believe and the program line of the green button in TAv & M is on Tv shift.
