K20D bits and bobs

I have sold my Km and just taken delivery of my "new" K20D.

A couple of cosmetic items missing and wondered if replacements can be had (have tried ebay).
ME viewfinder cap
Sync Socket 2P cap

The viewfinder cap would be very handy as I like long exposures and the worry with the sync cap is it could effect the WR properties ?

I also wondered thoughts and feelings as to screen protector (top and main) or not and if so which ones ?

Your expertise, as always, is very much appreciated

Have a look at:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pentax-rear-eye-piece-cover-for-ME-Super-KX-MX-P30-etc_W0Q...

That is the viewfinder sorted!

Try making an offer of 99p!

I think the sync cap needs to be there to ensure water resistance integrity as they are electrical contacts.

Thats my biggest concern but the only thing I cannot find, called "sync socket 2P cap" in the user manual but cannot find even on pentax website.
Anyone ? Is it the same cap on a K7 ?

The K20D is a screw in version and is teh same as on the MZ-S. The ME-super, ME, MX and Super-A used a push in version but it fits quite snugly and would do short term.
