K20D article - What Digital Camera Magazine on Monday

Just a reminder that What Digital Camera magazine will be running an article on the K20D as a used purchase in the May issue..I've contributed a few words and photos, the mag is released next Monday

Hopefully this will boost interest as I have one that I may be looking to sell to fund a K5 or K5ii purchase

Just received my complimentary copy of the Magazine and the article is worth a read, 2 togs give their views..me being one of them, a couple of photos from us both and then a recap of what the official reviews said at the time..I think it's pretty fair on the K20D, image noise being the main weakness that gets mentioned, they also recommend the K30 as a modern alternative

mind you, unless you could stump up £3000+ for a D3, or £1000 for a D300s then low noise choices were extremely limited, they are still now. All the faults that could be directed at the K20D were outweighed by its positives - as a matter of fact on a whale watching trip it survived the choppy pacific waters much better than I did and my partner's EOS 50D, my K10D coped with being under the Niagara Falls where every other camera on the Maids of the Mist were under plastic sheets....
