K20 or K5 or K-7

Hi guys am looking to upgrade my main pentax body K10d to one of the above, I could do with the body only or a good deal and a battery grip so if anyone is looking to sell. I already have some duplicate lense that came with my K100d super.
Please can anyone tell me if I will have issues with any of my lenses on the above bodies as I was just reading about K20d focusing issues with third party lenses.

There is no general issue that I know of.

Why are you upgrading? What is your budget? Those questions should help determine which model is suitable.

Am opening another office (photography bussiness) abroad and buying a few things like event printers or others, including one camera for a start, and monitor how it picks up. I love th k10d but I will like to send that and keep the k100d super still as a backup for my work, so I will have to replace the k10d for somthing highier or worse case senario like for like.

Budget between 250-350 for a start

I would sell all your long zoom lenses except the Tamron, sell the K10D, and add £300 to afford a good second hand K5 now or a new one when prices come down several months down the line. How often do you use your 50/1.2? A lot of cash tied up in that lens

There are no focusing issues with the K20D and third party lenses. The only slight problem is with Sigma in that they sometimes report to the camera AF adjustment the same model number so that if you do micro adjustment it will apply it do both lenses.

As an example my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 and 100-300mm f4 share the same number and so any af adjustment done on my K-5 will be applied to both lenses.

Personally I would sell :

Sigma APO 70-300mm 5.6
Tamron Di 70-300mm 5.6
Pentax DA 50-200mm
sigma 28-300mm 6.3
sigma 28-80mm
1x pentax DA 18-55mm 5.6

Keep 1 kit lens, the 17-70mm, 50mm and buy a Pentax 55-300mm DA ED.
You will have better IQ, less lenses and maybe even some extra cash in your pocket to put towards you camera.

Thanks buddies, I hardly use my 50mm 1:2, the only two I use for weddings and other events are sigma 17-70mm and the 70-300mm.
The plan is when i buy a new body I will send some of the duplicates lenses with the k10d and keep the 17-70mm and the 70-300mm and 50mm maybe.
As its a new start abroad and I not going to manage it for starters,am happy to send the k10d and see how it goes, the only upgrade to somthing slightly in specs. So if you can recomend some bodies apart from k5 that would great.

Mike if that Sigma 100-300mm F4 is giving you issues, I may be tempted to buy it.!!!

What Mike says. My 30/1.4 and 135-400 share the same number. It's a not a problem in practise. There are no focussing issues with 3rd party lenses though. Once calibrated the AF fine.
