K10D Transfer Mode: PC-F?

According to Page 11 of the Pentax Photo Laboratory manual, PC-F is USB1.1 spec (F for 'Full Speed' I guess), whereas the PC one is USB2.0 (High Speed).
In the info box there it says "If the USB transmission speed of the computer is slower than that of the camera, an error may occur during transmission of the data. If this occurs, set the Transfer Mose to [PC-F]. This sets the transfer speed to the USB1.1 data transfer rate, thereby reducing the possibility of an error."

That's very helpful. Thanks.
I was kind of hoping it might be some sort of hybrid PTP support but obviously not.
Is there any support yet for tethered shooting in the K10D? I've not been able to find anything conclusive.

Yes - it's been there a while. Is there any support yet for tethered shooting in the K10D?
You'll need Pentax Remote Assistant as well as firmware 1.3 (can't remember off hand exactly which version introduced it)

What is PC-F? It seems to function like PC mode but what's the difference?
Nothing about it in the manual that I can see and a Web search hasn't uncovered anything.
Thanks for any insight.
