I've just got my new K10D.
Compared to my *ist DL2, the shutter button feels very light e.g. there is hardly any pressure required to press the button to it's first click point.
Is this normal...?
Thanks

Yes it's normal. I notice it is different to the DS's as well. It's a different design of button (switch) - that reduces camera shake as less force is needed.

The button is quite sensitive, you'll soon get used to it though

Think of it as the camera's G-spot...
