K10d Mulitple Exposure Mode

I hope someone might still be watching this post so I can get an understanding on something. I'm wondering if what is assumed here is that putting the multiple exposures together as suggested in this thread is done in a post editing program. The way some explanations are written it would lead me to think otherwise but this isn't possible to do in the camera is it?

Best regards

The k10d and gx10 have an in camera multiple exposure mode in digital. Later models have HDR which is also in camera.

I would just suggest to checkmark the Auto EV Adjustment. Without it, each shot taken will add to the exposure. OK in the dark, but for daylight shots you'll end up with blown-out images in now time. So keep that turned on to allow the camera to correct the exposure.

Also.. just as an off the wall note... if you use Adobe Camera RAW or LightRoom, be sure to get their latest updates, as ACR had a bug when handling multiple-exposures shot in RAW for Pentax and some Nikon cameras, causing a heavy magenta cast to your images. I'm not sure if it affected all models of Pentax.
