I love the last one, a beautiful sweeping view. What was the lens and focal length? And could we see it in colour also?

The 2nd to last is odd with that rather extreme halo. Its good to go back and work through older shots... Digital now means they can be processed and come out looking like new!

I think these are potentially gorgeous images Gary, but the haloing on them does have a detrimental effect unfortunately on the first 3. And these 3 are the strongest images IMO

great treatment of a place often photographed, as others have said the halo
does spoil them a bit the 3rd being the most obvious.
odd lens or 2

But really Alan, don't you like that great wide expanse in the last? And it does have a couple of cows ... I thought you love your wildlife!

Yes, I've done the same thing trying to squeeze the best you can from a file. Shame but if the originals are still intact I'd have another go with a more subtle approach. They're certainly worth it.

The last one just needs a better tonal balance between sky and ground then it won't look so odd. Something like this, but you really need the original to work on as the highlights are blown:

It's a really nice landscape.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I like them but agree with the comments about the halo.

I like #1, #2, and the edit of #4.

Where are they taken, Gary (and please don't just write "Cornwall"! )?

Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback chaps. I do have the originals so will have a look at better PP. I have a pm that informs me that its Dartmouth in Devon!

I covered a lot of area in a short time so I have dropped the ball with the location. Just Googled the "Station Restaurant" and it is in Dartmouth so thanks to Joe (redbusa 99) for the heads up and remember, don't ask me for directions......

Best regards

Thanks Gary, and Joe. I thought I recognised the first two (I spent a couple of hours in that part of Dartmouth a few years ago).

Cheers.
Philip
