K10D for £ 362.99 ?

Hi all, while seaching for the best price for my new Pentax DSLR, came across this site, Digitalrev. com, they say they can do a K10D for £362.99 body only, does anybody know or had dealing with this site, before I part with my money, would post a link but not that clever.

They are well known here and I've had good service from them.

This has been discussed many times before. Beware of possibly having import duty & VAT to pay on top of that price.

Chris at www.SRSMicrosystems.co.uk has said he will do the body only for £399.00 to members of this forum (despite what price he has on the web). To me, that would be a much safer option for UK buyers.

They're up front about it. Just put one in the basket, go to the checkout and calculate Shipping and Handling.

It comes to £458.12.

I would agree with Mannesty and use SRS, Chris is a top guy and when I ordered mine it was here the next day. You know who you are dealing with as he is a regular contributer to this site.

Make sure you ask the right Chris.

I'll do you a special price on it, but I fear you wouldn't see the profit I'd make as quite what you had in mind.

I've used Digital Rev for a lens before and had no trouble with them whatsoever - they do ship from Hong Kong and are one of the better known and trusted of the companies who work from there.

IF you get away without paying the import duty or vat then you can save about 30 over the UK price - but it's a big IF.

However as a few of the others have said you can get Chris @ SRS to ship you one the next day, with full UK support and backup - and you'll be supporting a UK company who have (to the best of my knowledge) a 100% satisfaction record with the forum.

Hell, I've not been looking around for prices for the K10D elsewhere abymore - just waiting for it to drop enough for me to afford - SRS are the cheapest I have found in UK, and the customer service has always been superb.
