Hi Guys,

I've just found out that the latest K10D firmware is 1.31 and is available from :-

http://www.pentax.jp/english/support/digital/k10d_s.html

If this has already been noted then I apologise as I couldn't find it in any other threads

There may be some K10D owners who haven't seen it before, but that firmware was released on 22nd April 2010.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I obviously fall into that category and as it wasn't obvious (to me) when it was released and I hadn't noticed any post to that effect I thought I'd start one.

Better late than never I suppose

It seems like only few months ago I was putting that firmware on my K10D ... how time flies as you get older.

If it's any consolation Bernard, I just applied that upgrade to my K10 !

It's a trivial upgrade, but what the hell

Many thanks for the post! I hadn't known of the update, and I check my email every day. Does Pentax not inform its registered owners of updates? Or did a notification somehow go astray?

Nevertheless finding out is the thing. This forum, and its various cousin, are invaluable for quick dissemination of information. While the internet is a mixed blessing, for us the lonely band of Pentax brethern it is invaluable!
