k10D battery questions

are the k10 batteries rechargeable and does it now accept double A's?
I know I need at least 3 sets of rechargeable batteries on me at any shoot. does anyone have the skivvy on the battery scenario for this camera? thanks

Not unless a third party like Hahnel decide to make a battery grip for the K10D (which they do for C*n*n and N*k*n). I have emailed Hahnel to ask them about their intentions.

There is no reason why a third party shouldn't make such a device in future, which is why I'm putting off buying a grip at the moment. I'll also buy cheaper 3rd party spare batteries for the K10D.
