All Pentax lenses fit all Pentax cameras, no matter the age of the camera or lens. That's one of the reasons for having a Pentax

I would suggest buying the K-r with the 18-55mm lens as a kit. It's an excellent lens for the money and definitely worth having as a starting point. Stop down to the usual shooting apertures for landscapes and it's very sharp.
Your 50mm and 24mm lenses will probably get the most use from your existing kit, many people like a prime around the 24mm-35mm range as a walkabout lens. Read about the crop factor on Pentax digital bodies if you haven't already done so, suffice to say the field of view of your lenses on a digital body will be narrower than on film due to the sensor being smaller than a 35mm frame.
Your 80-200mm is a superb lens but you may find setting the focal length for the camera's shake reduction annoying - it won't change when you zoom. Obviously not a problem with the primes as you just set it and leave it.

Thanks Matt,
Thanks for the advice, a little more research is required before I buy.

I've just got back in to photography after a 30 year break, my old film bodies are a MX & an LX with a range of pentax lens from 28mm to 80-200mm zoom.
I too went for a K-r with the 18-55mm lens plus the 80-200mm in a bundle, I'm realy pleased with the results it produces.
I'm currently looking at getting my MX & LX serviced as I intend to do a bit of B&W film as well.

I have an old pentax slr 1000 me super, which I would like to obtain a new body for and really thinking about Pentax Kr.I have the following lens:
1:1.7 50mm 6221941
m zoom 1:4.5 80mmw 200mm 6564635
1:2.8 24mm 690302
Pangagor Auto Macro converter
Vivitar Mc Tele converter 2*22.
My question is will these lens fit the Kr body.? Also would it be advisable to buy one new lens with a body, if so which one ? Most of my camera work is landscape from flying a micro-light plane. I have been using a sony cyber shot DSC-100 compact. Thanks, and hope this makes sense. Anita
