K1000 Accesories.

Hey I recently decided to sell my digital rebel and just start using my k1000, I fell in love with film again. ANyway I am wondering what are some good lenses/flashs. I want a small'ish flash thatll fit ontop of the camera. And a good lens, maybe a wide angle one. Any help would be wonderful.

Also for some recomendations on lenses. My girlfriend and I are going to do like a street fashion type of photos.

It depends exactly what you want - maybe narrowing down your request might help For instance, maybe an excellent standard lens like the SMC-A 50mm/f1.4?

Really, any of the Pentax flashguns will work with the K1000 - it just depends what you want out of the flash (bounce, diffuse, manual control etc). Could you be more specific?

seriously for the flash I just want something standard that i can just use for indoor photos. Something that is on the smaller side aswell. For the lens... I have a Pentax-M 1:2 50mm and I just hate how close up it makes everything , so I was thinking on getting a nice wide angle used lens. Something like a SMC PENTAX 1:3.5/28?

A good, versatile, and readily available flash is the AF240Z.

The 1:3.5 28mm lenses are hard to find. The SMCP-M 1:2.8 28mm is much more plentiful, and whilst not the summit of Pentax lens design, is perfectly satisfactory.

Both can be found on Ebay for £20 - £30.

i just picked up a smcp-m 1:2.8 for 100 bucks canadian, seems fair as ebay is selling them for about 130'ish without the cost of shipping. And a kitstar 26bc flash for 20 bucks. Hope to have some fun with these new things.
