Thanks for the reply. Do not have the camera yet so no manual to check, but nice to know. Damn shame cannot do the same on the D.

I've been looking for the highlights etc (lowlights??) in playback, and notice in the manual, page 186 that it can be selected from the Playback Menu. This is available within the playback mode, but I've not seen how to do this. Haven't got the camera with me at the moment, so can't experiment. Has anybody else used this?
Cheers

Taliety,
* In the view mode, press the "Menu" button.
* Press the down arrow to go to "Playback display...."
* Press the right arrow and "Bright/Dark area" displays
* Press the right button to toggle the checkmark
* Press "OK" until you get back to the view.

Of course, pressing the "Info" button will cycle through the view modes. When viewing the histogram the up/down arrows toggle between Luminance and R/G/B/Luminance displays.

HTH!
