K1.

I'm "THINKING" of selling my K1. Everything is complete and boxed plus a D-BG6 grip boxed. 2 batteries, one in camera and one in grip. Shutter count only 4870. All in excellent condition. The reason is I'd like to buy the K1 Mk11 silver one from SRS. I've seen a K1 body only on ebay without the grip for £999.00 So I thought maybe £1000.00 would be reasonable for mine. I can post photos if anyone shows interest. I don't know if they would hold one for me or not???.

The last three K1's I'm aware of on this site have all been priced in the £700 - £740 bracket (admittedly without grips). Hope that helps.

As a starting point ask SRS for a part exchange price, they are pretty fair.

Hi. Rob. I've already done that first. What they offered wasn't quite enough to make it worth while. What I would have to pay on top was more than my indulgence could quite justify. I have in the past done P/X with them and been happy enough with them. BUT they have to make a profit when they sell it on and if I can get somewhere between their offer and their profit then both I and whoever wants to buy my K1 would both be happy.

I am actively buying and selling a significant quantity of camera equipment on ebay, specifially Pentax gear. K1's with approx 4,000 clicks on the shutter are selling for about £900, if that's any help.

I’d be interested in this but would really depend on postage, especially post brexit, I am in republic of Ireland so new costs and customs things to deal with. If you’re interested in investigating postage, please go ahead and post some pictures of the gear. Thanks a lot.
