The PENTAX 17 is a 2024 compact film camera featuring vertical half-frame shooting, a fixed 25mm f/3.5 lens with zone focusing and is the first release from Pentax's Film Project. John Riley reviews this modern day take on film photography and provides sample photos along with his verdict.

I use a Bowens Pulsar and 2xGemini pro lights with my K1. Never had any problems till now - the lights have stopped flashing.
The test button fires the flash, both of them in fact work and I've confirmed they're okay testing with a different camera and sync lead.
But on my K1 neither the Pulsar / nor sync lead direct to the camera and light work???
Is there a setting I've changed accidentally? on my K1? I can't find anything, I know in other DSLR's you can kill any flash activation.
If anyone has any 'bright' ideas I'd be really grateful... Jaron
