At Amazon .. metal brown only but decent price just the same.

And as you would be buying the camera for it's superb high ISO performance you would most likely be using it in dark conditions so no one will see the colour anyway .. result.

I would be concerned that my 2nd hand price for mine would now be approx buggerall(tm), except it'll make a very handy 2nd body to go with a K-5...
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

That's been rumoured for a while now.

But the K7 is older, would be strange if they would already replace the K-X before the K7.

Or..

K-x goes down in price and stays as the entry level camera

New camera comes in between K-x & K-7

K-7 stays as is.

New model comes in above K-7

Just an idea!

If they don't do something with the AF this time then the majority of my gear will be up for sale very soon after the announcement.

I think Pentax have had enough time to get something out that can compete with Nikon and Canon.

Know what you mean.

Having 1st hand experience of my 60-250 focussing at least twice as fast on a pre-production camera, if we don't get a substantial upgrade on the focussing speed it will be a major disappointment.
