I'm intending to get a K-5 II in the new year and expect to be doing a fair bit of hand-held work in poorly lit interiors (where my K-10 struggles). In due course more information about your experience plus any tips on practice and limitations would be helpful.

Peter's right - quoting spam just means an extra layer of work to remove the info in the spam.

Mmmm Spam and egg
I have to agree with Mark. The low light focusing ability of the II is simply amazing.
Most of my photography is of my sons, in the living room just flopping around, as boys do, And looking through the viewfinder I can just make out their faces and the II just locks on like its a sunny day. I use a little bounce flash to fill in, and 99% of the shots are spot on. As I came from a K7 and missed out the K5 altogether I cant comment on its ability, but the K7 would of just hunted away till its battery died

Am I missing something here? At present it looks as though you and Peter are referring to my post or Mark's OP; if so I don't see why. Peter's right - quoting spam just means an extra layer of work to remove the info in the spam.
I can only assume that a post about spam has been deleted, in which case it would have helped to leave a slot showing its deletion.

You just said my mind Wasleys. I too couldn't understand the reason for John and Peter's comments.

Yes, a post has been deleted that quoted spam, hence the comment. However, unfortunately it's not possible to leave a marker.

Might be a feature request for the forums? Yes, a post has been deleted that quoted spam, hence the comment. However, unfortunately it's not possible to leave a marker.
Anyway, thanks for reporting in the feature for the K5-II. That alone might be a worthy upgrade from the K7!
