K-5 IIs sensor cleaning
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans" (John Lennon)
I have the sensor cleaning option set, so it gets cleaned of non-sticky contaminants every time it's switched on.

How much would you expect to pay for a pro sensor clean? I happen to use 2 systems (A and K Mounts) and although I normally do my own sensor cleaning as I have both wet and dry kits, I have actually paid for a pro service from Camera Repair Workshop (CRW) who are specialists for multiple formats, but a sensor is a sensor and cleaning is the same whether you go to Calumet, LCE, the manufacturer or other agent, so if you do need a pro clean, you won't find a much nicer company and Dave (the gaffer) is a diamond geezer to boot. Currently they have a 10% off sensor cleaning offer going on (you also pay the cost of postage to/from), but the base cost of an APS-C clean (without discount) is £30.00 (nett £27.00) or £35.00 (£31.50) for full frame. For advice or information, telephone Dave on: 01908 378088.
I hope this may be useful to anyone requiring this type of service and as a repeat customer of their for sensor and lens cleaning, I can recommend them as they provided me with an exemplary service.

It's ridiculously easy to clean the sensor, why would you pay someone to do it?
